The best gift of 2024, Silas was born February 16th at 4:07 am, 7lbs 10oz 19.25 Inches. He is the sweetest, happiest boy and we are all smitten with him. His favorite person in the world is his sister and watching their bond grow brings us so much joy. Silas started daddy and me swim lessons and baby music class this year. Currently, he is crawling, pulling himself up to stand and saying "Mama" and "Dada"!

Ardyn started preschool this year and is loving her new big sister role! She still enjoys weekly swim lessons and gymnastics classes and looks forward to starting up soccer and dance again in the spring. Ardyn's passion still lies in art and drawing - we're excited for her to start Kindergarten in the fall and have a weekly art rotation! When asked, she alternates between wanting to be an artist or a gardener when she grows up!
She continues to love all things art!

After 5 months of maternity leave and bonding time with Silas, Sydney went back to work in August. She is still enjoying her monthly book club with girlfriends and also joined a Barre studio this year.
After overcoming injuries last year, Luke has focused on his health and fitness journey in 2024. He enjoys running and biking and hopes to do another half marathon in the future. He received a promotion in September, and still finds time for video games on occasion!
We flew to San Francisco in April to attend our the wedding of our dear friends in Sausalito. Since the wedding was the day before Ardyn's birthday, we decided to extend the trip for a little family getaway. We had so much fun exploring old stomping grounds (Sydney lived in the Bay Area after college), hiking around Muir Woods, taking the ferry into SF and celebrating Ardyn with a full day at Pier 39!

You know Sydney will never miss an opportunity for a passport stamp! When Luke had a bachelor party in Bellingham, WA this spring, we were able to sneak in a family vacation before! We flew to Seattle, rented a car (A convertible Mustang with two kids in carseats maybe wasn't the best choice, but oh the memories 😅) , and took the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria and spent 5 days exploring Vancouver Island. We went to Butchart Gardens, then made our way north to Pacific Rim National Forest for some hiking. Truly the most wonderful trip.
Snuggling on the flight to Seattle!
Our rental car - Convertible Mustang + 2 carseats = tons of memories 😅.

We were able to take a trip to San Diego at the end of June! Sydney and Luke (and Silas) took a road trip up to Ojai for a friend's wedding and Ardyn got to spend some time with her grandparents. It was so much fun seeing old friends, spending time with family, going to the beach and introducing Silas to everyone! Sydney and the kids stayed in town for 4th of July and even got to attend some Baseball games for the Boman Boys! It was really hard choosing pictures for this one, we're so lucky to have so many people we love in one place!

Our family flew to Montana in July for a (yet another) wedding and decided to turn this trip into an extended vacation, also! We stayed just outside the entrance to Glacier National Park in a cute little cabin and spent 3 days exploring the wonders of the park! We saw all the animals - Bears, Eagles, Mountain Goats, Big Horn Sheep - and loved hiking, chasing waterfalls and swimming in the lakes. We can't wait to go back! This was our last trip before Sydney went back to work and we sure made the most of it!
